Since the first Pentecost, Jesus has called Christians
and churches to serve as his watchmen for the world. Even now Jesus does for us
and through us what Yahweh did for and through Ezekiel. When he tells us repentance
is needed to avoid destruction, our responsibility is to relay the message to
our companion Christians and churches and, through them, to the world.
(1) Jesus Christ sets us on the path of freedom which is based on truth and leads through love to eternal life. (2) Yet false gods continue to enthrall us with the path of power which is based on falsehood and leads through indifference to death. (3) Even Christians have fallen under their spell. (4) But Jesus is calling us to join him as prophetic witnesses in breaking their spell beginning with his Church. (5) Use this website to strengthen your witness to Jesus for our good and his glory.

Blind Watchmen: How Did We Miss the Disaster of Suburbia?
Yahweh called Ezekiel to serve as watchman for his people
(Ezekiel 3:16-21, 33:1-9). If Ezekiel shouted Yahweh’s warning and they
repented, good; if not, bad. If bad without the warning, though, Yahweh would
hold Ezekiel responsible.

Daily Bible Readings
The importance of
reading the Bible daily
Jesus tells us that the first and greatest commandment is to love God with all
our heart, soul, mind, and strength (Mark 12:30). One crucial way of doing
this is by reading the Bible. The Bible is our normative witness to Jesus
Christ. The words of the Bible are still the ones through which Jesus most
prefers to speak to us. It remains our best antidote to the Olympian worldview
of the Global Technological System.
There are many ways of developing the daily habit of reading the Bible
To begin with, set aside a regular time each day to read the Bible. First thing in the morning is best. Then:

Jewish Context AD 1
When Jesus was born, Jews in and around Jerusalem had divided
themselves into three major groups.
Sadducees
The Sadducees were the Jewish high-priestly families
controlling the Temple in Jerusalem. They accepted only the Law of Moses, the
first five books of our Old Testament, as normative. For them, to be a Jew, to
be a meaningful participant in Yahweh’s Chosen People, was to offer right sacrifices
to Yahweh in the temple dedicated to Yahweh in Jerusalem.
